Frequently asked questions
1. How do I sign up for a class?
You can sign up online by visiting our Class Registration Page or by calling (615) 589-3279 to reserve your spot.
2. What classes do you offer?
We offer 4-hour and 8-hour Defensive Driving classes, both virtual and in-person. These classes can help you reduce points on your driving record, keep your driver’s license in good standing, reinstate a suspended license, lower insurance costs, and much more. We also provide Behind-the-Wheel driving lessons for new or inexperienced drivers, catering to both teens and adults.
3. Are your instructors certified?
Yes. Our instructors are certified to teach AAA’s Driver Improvement Program.
4. How do virtual classes work?
Our virtual classes are live and interactive. You’ll join via Zoom, where a certified instructor will lead the session. You need access to a smartphone, tablet, or computer with internet access.
5. Will I receive a certificate after class?
Yes. After you complete the class, we will email you your certificate on the next business day. You must submit it to the appropriate court or DMV (if applicable).
6. Can I reschedule my class?
Yes, we allow one courtesy reschedule within three days after your scheduled class. If you do not reschedule within that time frame, you will lose your service and have to reregister.
7. What’s the difference between the 4-hour and 8-hour classes?
- The 4-hour class is typically for minor traffic violations or court-ordered education.
- The 8-hour class is for excessive points, more serious violations, and/or license reinstatement.
8. What do I need to bring to an in-person class?
Bring a valid photo ID and arrive on time. Additionally, consider bringing a pen and paper for note-taking.

10. How do Behind-the-Wheel driving lessons work?
Our driving lessons consist of one-on-one sessions with a certified instructor. We focus on practical skills such as parallel parking, navigating traffic, and passing the driving test. Lessons are tailored to your experience level and divided over multiple days. We also provide pickup and drop-off services within Murfreesboro and up to 5 miles outside of Murfreesboro for your convenience.
